How the engagement works

Four steps. One closure plan.

Every CardPeak estate intake runs the same four steps in order — the order matters, and it's the order that turns an inherited pile into a settled estate.

Step 1

Inventory & inherit

List what you've got — cards, boxes, memorabilia, photos, signed pieces. Don't grade yet. The family identifies sentimental items before pricing.

Step 2

Evaluate & value

We map the collection against the market: vintage vs modern, raw vs graded candidates, marquee rookies, filler. Independent of any buyer.

Step 3

Grade or hold

We recommend which cards earn a PSA/SGC/BGS submission — and which don't — with priority order. Submission prep is part of the intake.

Step 4

Sell & remit

Auction vs consignment vs eBay, sequenced for highest net proceeds. Net check, not gross lift. The estate accounting closes on the same numbers.

What the engagement costs
